Introduction: Isabella The Extraordinary IB Student

Good Evening, everyone!

My stage name is Isabella. I born on Valentine's Day in Manila, Philippines. I studied in some international school in Philippines for more than 10 years. Hence the title, I am IB student.

My personal concern is my hearing disability and its affected on my life.  I was born with profound hearing loss and the cause of disability was unknown. When I was two and half years old, I had an operation to have a cochlear implant and had to undergo intensive speech therapy. My language development was very late compared with regular hearing people. It is really hard for me to learn and speak new vocabulary because I have no auditory memory. Hence my grammar. My grammar is biggest problem so you, the readers including "The Grammar Nazi", will be warned.

The reason why I made this blog is to express my experience and explain how does combination between student with hearing disable and IB works. IB is very challenging especially for people with disability. Now, I decided to create blog to share with you how do I survive every single hell day.

Being hearing disable student is really hard. I have to ask for extra help, I have manage my pop quizzes, or I have to create long orals. I will explain farther tomorrow or next day. However, I am actually surprised that my grades are good enough to get in good colleges and stuff. Except, the aggressive inside me is getting worst and worst.

I wanted to share with you guys....(hopefully, there are readers). I feel like I need to tell someone. I need to find something to ease my stress.
